FLORLIK ROSE
FLORLIK ROSE is an active ingredient produced from fresh rose petals, with an innovative process developed by ASSESSA, by which the structure of fresh petals is modified, transforming them into a liquid that contains all the bioactives components of the flower.
FLORLIK ROSE is rich in anthocyanins, other polyphenols, special sugars, polyhydroxy acids, flower acids and mineral salts.

ROSE PETALS IN COSMETICS
Roses belong to the Rosaceous family Rosa L. genus, with over 100 species and thousands of varieties and hybrids.
The substances responsible for the variation in the colour of the roses are anthocyanins such as peonin and cyanin, whose structures can be seen in the following figure (Harborne, 1961; Eugster & Marki-Fischer, 1991).
Anthocyanins presents anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, fragility reducing and capillary permeability properties (Kong et al, 2003). These are extracted using polar solvents such as methanol, ethanol, acetone, water and mixtures between them.
In addition to anthocyanins, rose petals are rich in alpha-hydroxy acids, moisturizing mucilages and minerals.

FLORLIK ROSE NANO is a lipid nanocapsule with an average size of 463.7 nm with a multifunctionality of hydration and high permeation involving the hydrolyzate of rose petals, protecting the antioxidant polyphenols from early degradation and partial loss of activity.
THE ENZIMATIC TRIGGER THAT RELEASES THE CONTENT OF FLORLIK ROSE NANO IS ACTIVATED 1 HOUR AFTER IT ENTERS IN CONTACT WITH THE SKIN. THIS ACTIVITY LAST FOR UP TO 10 HOURS, ALLOWING FOR THE CONTINUOUS RELEASE OF THE BIOACTIVE.
