FRULIX CERTIFIED LARANJA (Orange) is obtained through an exclusive biotechnological process that mimics the natural ripening of fruit. Using the fruits’ native enzymes that act on the changes that occur in the texture of the fruit during its ripening, ASSESSA transforms it´s pulp into a crystalline liquid with all the active ingredients in concentrations equivalent to those found in nature.

The orange is the fruit produced by the orange tree (Citrus x sinensis), a member of the Rutaceae family. The orange is a hybrid fruit, created in antiquity through the cross-fertilization of the grapefruit and the tangerine. The orange was brought from China to Europe in the 16th century by the Portuguese. That is why sweet oranges are called “Portugueses” in many countries, (orange in Greek, for example, is “portokali”). This fruit is commonly peeled and consumed raw, or squeezed to obtain juice. Oranges contain appreciable quantities of mineral salts, principaliy calcium, potassium, sodium and phosphorous and are rich in complex B vitamins. The orange is considered one of the most important sources of vitamin C in the human diet (two oranges per day provide all the vitamin C that the organism needs). ln addition to this, they contain simple sugars which are easily assimilated by the organism. Its high content of flavonoids and beta-carotene, makes orange an especially interesting fruit due to the antioxidant effect of these nutrients.

FRULIX CERTIFIED LARANJA (Orange) possesses the protective, nutritive and remineralizing properties of the natural fruit and is recommended for use in hair-care products (shampoos, mousses, conditioners, hair masks) in formulas for the treatment of greasy or weakened hair.
Usage levels
FRULIX CERTIFIED LARANJA (Orange) is compatible with the majority of ingredients used in cosmetic formulations for the treatment of hair, and may be incorporated cold, directly into the aqueous phase of the formulas, in accordance with the suggestions for concentration found in the table below. It is stable at temperatures of up to 90 ºC, in pH conditions ranging from 4.00 to 11.00. Recommendations for use, in the table are suggestions and intended to guide formulators in order to optimize the benefits obtained with the use of FRULIX CERTIFIED LARANJA (orange) in their products.
