How to protect hair from pollution

News September 1, 2016

Environmental pollution has become an increasingly serious problem and its effects are responsible for serious threats to human health, impacting also on the condition of the skin and hair.

Air pollution is directly linked to skin health, but in the case of hair is the water that causes concern. Recent studies published by researchers Simon Godfrey (International Journal of Cosmetic Science, 2013, 35, 264-271) and Tang Ying (Journal of Photochemistry & Photobiology, B: Biology 156 (2016) 35-40) show the importance of metals and toxins dissolved in tap water in the hair fiber damage processes.

FIBER DTOX is a new ingredient specially developed by Assessa for the prevention of damage to the hair caused by air and water pollutants.
